Women’s Expo Showcases Local Business Women

Women’s Expo Peterborough is ready to embrace the entrepreneurial spirit of women in business again this September. In its second year, the Women’s Expo embodies their mission “To make a difference by creating a fun, empowering experience for all, alongside supporting small to medium businesses to reach their business goals, to educate and to support the growth of local business communities.”

Founders Shari Pearce, Audrey McDonald and Linda Gratton – and with two new members this year; Crystal Wilkinson and Annie Carson, this unique trade show showcases local businesswomen. “We felt there was something missing in the community for women entrepreneurs,” explains Pearce when asked about the motivation for this event.

Select speakers will provide insight into their particular area of expertise and how they overcame obstacles to achieve success. Keynote speakers for 2019 include Sharon Zehavi with Sex Up Your Brand and Jason Chessar with Uncommon Resultz.

There will be a fashion show beginning at 6PM, a local winery offering wine tastings, Power Hour Speaking, and 30 + more vendors to explore!

Take part in an exciting silent auction, proceeds of which will be donated to a local Women’s Shelter; where 100% of ticket sales will also be donated.

The public are invited to attend the second annual Women’s Expo Peterborough, which takes place Thursday September 26th from 1PM-8PM at The Stonehouse Hall (Peterborough Curling Club).
