Summer at Kawartha Settlers Village

What was once a thriving family farm, Kawartha Settlers’ Village is now home to a fascinating collection of over 20 historic homes and buildings. Experience what life was like for pioneers in the Kawarthas as you stroll leisurely through the Village and discover artifacts from 1830 – 1935.

KSV is open daily from May to September from 10am – 4pm for general admission. Enjoy a self-guided tour, walk the discovery trail, and enjoy a variety of activities and enrichment programs. New this year is the “Working Village” pilot project; beginning mid-June on Wednesdays and Thursdays visitors can experience a variety of live demonstrations. See a blacksmith at work, a quilter creating a masterpiece, live restorations and more! Stay tuned for more information.

Settlers’ Village is excited to be offering a Quilt Display and Makers’ Market August 20 – 21! Handmade quilts will be on display throughout KSV for your viewing pleasure. There will also be a variety of local makers showcasing and selling their goods. Admission is $10 for a full weekend pass, which includes entry to the Village, Quilt Exhibit and the Makers Market. This pass will allow you entry throughout the weekend, so feel free to come and go as you please.
