Slowly cooked ground beef sautéed with onion, ketchup, mustard, seasoning and spices. Classic comfort food.
•1 lb lean ground beef
•1 small white onion, chopped
•1 cup ketchup
•1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
•1 tablespoon brown sugar
•1 tablespoon white vinegar
•1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
•1 tablespoon lemon juice
•1 teaspoon paprika
1. Place a skillet on medium-high heat. Add beef, stirring it in the pan to crumble while it cooks.
2. Once beef is cooked, drain away any excess fat. Then, add onion and cook for a few moments to soften.
3. Add the remaining ingredients, stirring them in to combine. Reduce heat to simmer and cook for 30 minutes.
4. Serve on buns or bread of choice.
