Lakefield Chalk Challange
As youth and their families stick closer to home during the COVID19 crisis, Lakefield Youth Unlimited (LYU) is offering an initiative to encourage families to work together to create positive memories.
Using chalk, families are being asked to draw their concept of HOPE on their driveways or sidewalks and then submit a photo to the lakefieldyouthunlimited Facebook
page or sarahj@youthunlimitedtkaw.com. Multiple submissions are accepted with the deadline being Tuesday, March 31. Sarah Jones (LYU Elementary Outreach Worker) and volunteer judges will announce a winner and drop off a prize on April 1. The award will be something that the whole family can enjoy.

Chris Jones, LYU’s Satellite Director, is hoping that as community members drive around the village of Lakefield they will see these signposts of encouragement during a difficult time.
